Evelie Posch - Consultant

Evelie Delfino Sáles Posch, of Filipino and Spanish ancestry grew up in Italy, Germany, the US and the Philippines. She is a Sacred Song Singer/Writer, recording artist, drummer, dancer, Tibetan yogini, Sound and Pranic healer and practitioner, choral director, storyteller, educator, scholar, ritual leader, and magical activist whose talents have flourished for over thirty-five years, spanning the traditions of her ancestors and the progressive edge of ceremony, and world music today. She performs with and co-directs Mahal, a kosmik-ethnik-ekstatik-trance-tribal fusion muzik ensemble; and the Bodhi-Gaia Ensemble and Chorus which leads antiphonal spirit chanting and other devotional music; and the Spiral Dance Chorus and Band which supports the annual Spiral Dance at Herbst Pavilion, Fort Mason the last Saturday of October around Samhain/Araw ng Patay/Dia de los Muertos/All Saints/All Souls Days. She teaches Master classes in Women's Spirituality, and Voice, co-leads and sings at Techno Cosmic Masses, conducts playshops in chanting, drumming, ritual magic, movement and dance. Evelie is grateful to her first teacher, her mother, Divinia, a professional singer and healer; to Starhawk, author and activist, who walks her talk; and to many others who have influenced and inspired her to keep on creating beauty and spreading peace, healing and justice in this world. Whether leading sacred ceremonies, healing, performing, or teaching, Evelie is passionately involved in bringing all Beings to a timeless world of music and art as ancient as it is fresh today.
